    Stride Rides is a unique app that offers passengers discounts on their rides in exchange for completing surveys during or before their journeys.
  • What is the minimum balance (£) I can use?
    The minimum you can redeem for a ride is £1.
  • How does Stride Rides work?
    Open the Stride app before booking your ride. Select your preferred taxi provider for your upcoming ride. Choose a survey from the available options. Swipe right to be redirected to your selected provider. Book your ride and wait for your driver. Come back to Stride during the ride to take the survey. Top up your balance and save on transportation costs!
  • Which mobility providers can I use with Stride Rides?
    Stride currently partners with Uber, Bolt, and Gett. Stay tuned for more to come 🤫
  • Can I redeem my balance everywhere in the world?
    It depends on the provider. You can redeem your balance with Uber and use it anywhere Uber operates, with the balance automatically converted from GBP to the local currency.
  • How much can I save with Stride?
    Your savings depend on how active you are, the survey, and the provider, but rewards typically cover a significant portion of your future ride cost. On average, you can save 10% to 30%, and in some cases, it can even reach 50% or more.
  • How can I delete my account?
    If you wish to delete your account, it’s of course unfortunate, but we fully respect and encourage users to be proactive about their decisions. Go to Settings > Account > Delete User. Your account and all personal data will be deleted immediately.
  • What should I know about the onboarding process?
    You need to complete three onboarding surveys. These surveys collect demographic information such as your gender, date of birth, marital status, nationality, and more. This information helps match you with relevant surveys and transportation deals, allowing you to make the most out of your journey.
  • What happens if I can’t finish the onboarding survey in one sitting?
    No worries! You can always return to complete the onboarding survey by navigating to the Dashboard page and selecting the "Continue" button.
  • Why do I need to complete the onboarding surveys?
    Completing the onboarding surveys is essential to get the full value from Stride. Stride Rides is where your data becomes a currency that you can use for transportation savings. In exchange for your data, you’ll receive immediate, significant discounts on your rides. Without completing the three onboarding surveys, we won’t be able to match you with as many surveys, meaning fewer opportunities to save on transportation costs.
  • What happens after I finish the onboarding surveys?
    Once you finish, you’re officially a Strider! If you haven’t used your balance yet, you should already have £5 waiting for you. From now on, you don’t have to pay full price for transportation. You pay much less. Why? Because you understand your data is being taken anyway—only now, you have the choice to earn something back when it matters most: your transportation.
  • How do I receive surveys?
    After completing the onboarding surveys, you will be assigned surveys based on your profile. The more information you provide, the more surveys you will receive.
  • How do I choose a survey?
    After clicking “Book Now” and selecting a provider, you’ll see the “Choose Your Survey” screen. From there: Browse surveys in the carousel. Each survey will display the estimated time to complete and the reward amount. After selecting a survey, you’ll be directed to the provider’s platform to complete your booking.
  • What happens if I select a provider that’s not installed on my phone?
    You’ll need to download the provider’s app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). After that, you can proceed with your booking.
  • What types of surveys will I see?
    Surveys are short, relevant, and designed to match your ride time. Topics are tailored based on your preferences, demographics, and interests, as provided in the onboarding surveys.
  • How long do surveys take?
    Most surveys take 10 minutes to complete. Some surveys might be longer (15 min - 25 min), but they typically offer higher rewards.
  • How do I receive my rewards?
    After completing a survey, your reward will appear as balance (£) in the Stride app header. To redeem: Click on a provider and select the amount of discount through “Use Balance”. On the Summary page, swipe right to the provider app. You should receive the voucher immediately. If you do not receive your voucher, please contact us at info@striderides.com or submit feedback via the Support page.
  • Can I skip a survey?
    No. The entire point of Stride is to take surveys to earn transportation discounts. If you choose not to take a survey, that’s fine—you’ll just need to pay the regular price for your ride.
  • What can I find on the Dashboard?
    Active mode: Displays surveys you need to complete. Completed mode: Shows all completed surveys along with the date and reward. Voucher Redeemed History: Lists all redeemed vouchers.
  • What should I do if the redirect after booking doesn’t work?
    Go to the Dashboard and swipe right on the voucher to manually retry the redirect. If you still experience issues, contact us at info@striderides.com or submit a feedback via the Support page.
  • Can I update or delete my account?
    Yes. To delete your account, email info@carpoll.uk. To update your account details, go to the "Account" screen under the "Personal Info" section.
  • Can I change my information after signing up?
    Yes, you can update your personal details at any time from the "Account" screen.
  • What should I do if I experience technical problems?
    In the "Settings" screen, you’ll find a "Send Feedback" option where you can report technical issues and provide other feedback.
  • Is there a customer support contact?
    Yes, you can contact customer support at info@striderides.com for assistance with any issues.
  • What policies do I need to be aware of?
    All users should review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before using the app.
  • Can I opt-out of data collection or tracking?
    Yes, you can choose not to share certain data. However, this may limit the opportunities we can offer you to save on transportation costs.
  • Does the app track my location?
    Yes, Stride Rides requires location permissions to provide relevant transportation deals and services.
  • How is my data protected?
    Stride prioritises your privacy. All survey responses are anonymised and securely shared with trusted research partners.
